Uh Oh. Salsa Dancing Cynthia Nixon Has Lost The All-Important Amy Schumer Vote.

According to this, even though Amy Schumer donated ten thousand dollars to Cynthia Nixon’s gubernatorial campaign, she’s flipped and has announced that she’s planning to vote for Cuomo in this week’s primary.

I’m betting the boob shaking had something to do with it. That’s my hunch.

Amy made her big announcement on her IG page, because of course.

She wrote in her caption, “Thursday we vote. Everyone! It’s not cute to not vote anymore. I’ll tell you who I’m voting for honestly, for gov: cuomo. Reason: Andrew isn’t my fav dude But he’s good gov. I wanted to vote Nixon, but sadly, i don’t believe she would know what the heck to do. She needs to be able to pressure the state legislature in stuff but I don’t believe she has enough connections upstate. But I love her and think if anyone is inclined voting Nixon is cool. Attorney general: I’m voting @zephyrteachout She is the MOST qualified. And she will take on trump the best. I am also proudly voting for @jumaane.williams.”

No mention of the salsa dancing or boob shaking shimmy, but you guys, YOU KNOW that had to have something to do with it. I mean, it’s not like it’s new news that Cynthia Nixon wouldn’t “know what the heck to do” or that she doesn’t have enough upstate connections.

Cuomo, by the way, is expected to easily win his primary, and once he does that, he’s expected to easily win the November midterm, because New York voters are overwhelmingly dumb, apparently.

Anyway, without Amy Schumer’s vote, Cynthia might as well shimmy her way right out of this race, amirite?
