Former Bachelor Star Arrested For Domestic Violence

I’ve told you guys before that my guilty pleasure involves anything to do with “The Bachelor” franchise. I watch it all. “The Bachelorette,” “Bachelor in Paradise”– you name it. There’s something about it that’s addicting and mind-numbing. After writing about politics all day, mind-numbing is nice! Trust me on that one.

I follow a dude on Twitter @RealitySteve who basically mocks and spoils the shows, and I freaking love it. He always has the behind-the-scenes scoops, and it makes it THAT much more fun to watch. So today, I was scrolling through Twitter and saw this:

For those who don’t know, Amanda Stanton is a mom of two who appeared on “The Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise.” This might sound heartless and controversial, but I think it’s really irresponsible to go on these shows, leaving your kids for who KNOWS how long just to get trashy TV exposure. Not to mention that she’s dated the biggest DOUCHEBAGS on the planet. I mean Josh Murray? Then Robby Hayes? Seriously? He’s SO full of himself, and his teeth are ridiculous. (Remember that episode of “Friends” where Ross gets his teeth whitened SO MUCH that they glow? That’s Robby IRL.)

All that being said, Stanton has been arrested for domestic violence. No– she’s NOT the victim here, either.

Bachelor’ and “Bachelor in Paradise” fan favorite Amanda Stanton has been arrested for domestic battery after a drunken post-bachelorette party incident with her boyfriend … TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with what went down tell us Stanton was partying with friends at The Encore for a co-ed bachelorette event. We’re told Stanton’s bf, Bobby Jacobs, was there too … and everyone was celebrating in a room at the hotel.

Long story short, there was some sort of noise complaint, so security showed up, and her boyfriend was talking to the guard. At some point, a drunk Amanda came up and shoved her boyfriend.

We’re told the shove was hard enough for security to call cops, who arrested Amanda for misdemeanor domestic violence. She was released Monday.

Sources close to Amanda tell us she and Bobby are still together, and they both think someone slipped something — a drug, presumably — into her drink.

Yikes, man. Yikes. It’s sad to see these people STILL don’t have their lives together.
