Trump Administration Hits Back Against Damning Allegations Made In New Anti-Trump Book

Ohhhhh great. Another garbage anti-Trump book is coming out. (BTW– has anyone else noticed that no one cares about Omarosa’s book and tapes now? Tis sweet.)

The new book by Bob Woodward makes some pretty damning allegations. (Woodward actually talked to Trump and has it on tape. You can read the transcript here.) For example, it claims that Trump said condemning white supremacists after the violent 2017 Charlottesville rally was the “biggest f—king mistake” he basically ever made.

“That was the biggest f—ing mistake I’ve made,” Trump reportedly told aides almost immediately after the condemnation.

Trump also called it the “worst speech I’ve ever given,” according to Woodward’s account.

The scandalous book also claims that John Kelly called Trump an idiot and threatened to quit a bunch of times.

The book says that White House chief of staff John Kelly threatened to quit several times, and it recounts a conversation he had with then-National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn after Cohn attempted to deliver his resignation letter to Trump in the summer of 2017.

Woodward also claims Kelly said, “This is the worst job I’ve ever had.”

Kelly has denied those claims.

“The idea I ever called the president an idiot is not true,” Kelly said in a statement. “This is another pathetic attempt to smear people close to President Trump and distract from the administration’s many successes.”

Woodward’s info is “based on hundreds of hours of interviews with firsthand sources, as well as meeting notes and personal diaries, files and documents,” the Hill reports. Take that as you will.

Trump and members of his administration are pushing back HARD.

The Woodward book has already been refuted and discredited by General (Secretary of Defense) James Mattis and General (Chief of Staff) John Kelly. Their quotes were made up frauds, a con on the public. Likewise other stories and quotes. Woodward is a Dem operative? Notice timing?

Isn’t it a shame that someone can write an article or book, totally make up stories and form a picture of a person that is literally the exact opposite of the fact, and get away with it without retribution or cost. Don’t know why Washington politicians don’t change libel laws?
