Nike’s New Commercial Paints Colin Kaepernick As Some Sort Of Inspirational Hero

This is the Nike ad that’s set to air during the first NFL game of the regular season– Thursday night’s Falcons-Eagles season opener. The commercial is narrated by Colin Kaepernick. Nike basically lumps him in with people who are ACTUALLY inspiring. All Kaepernick did was take a knee during the national anthem and wear “Cops as Pigs” socks. That’s his big contribution. And yes– he drops THAT line. “Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything.”

To make matters worse, he drops that line in front of an American flag projected on a building.

It truly makes me sick that someone like Kaepernick is being hailed a hero.

So Colin overcame a permanent physical disability?

And his protest was to speak out against the oppression of those with permanent physical disabilities?

That video could have been voiced over by anyone including athletes that have actually made larger sacrifices. And what did he really sacrifice? He has been getting paid by Nike every year. He makes way more money than any of our military men and women or police personnel

It could’ve been an inspiring ad, but they ruined it with Kaepernick. It’s forever tainted.
