Liberals Attack Ron DeSantis And Accuse Him Of Being Racist For Using A Normal Phrase

It hasn’t even been 24 hours since Ron DeSantis secured a primary win, and MSM is already coming at him full force.

As I mentioned earlier, a legit socialist won the Democrat’s primary for Florida governor. This guy– Andrew Gillum– has a pretty socialiscious (it’s a new word I just made up, inspired by Fergie) platform. It involves “free” health care for all, the abolishment of ICE and the impeachment of Trump.

DeSantis and Gillum couldn’t be more opposite. It shouldn’t even be a challenge, but MSM is getting ready. It’s already pulling out all the stops. First thing is first: Try to paint DeSantis as a flaming racist.

He recently spoke to Fox News and described Gillum as “an articulate spokesman for those far-left views.”

“You know, this is a guy, although he’s much too liberal for Florida, I think he’s got huge problems with how he’s governed Tallahassee,” DeSantis said.

“I watched those Democrats debate and none of that is just my cup of tea, but he performed better than the other people there, so we gotta work hard to make sure that we continue Florida going in a good direction,” he continued.

Wait. Here’s where DeSantis goes full blown RACIST.

“Let’s build off the success we’ve had on Gov. Scott. The last thing we need to do is to monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda with huge tax increases bankrupting the state. That is not going to work,” he stated.

Now, a normal person goes, “What’s the big deal? Don’t screw this thing up by voting for a socialist.” Freakshow Dems who ONLY see race go, “WOW! ‘Monkey this up’? He’s only saying that because Gillum is black. OBVIOUS RACIST!”

No. He’s saying that because socialism is horrible and that’s a normal phrase. He used it as a verb. Just Google it.

WOW SO RACIST.

Seriously– am I the only one who doesn’t associate monkeys with black people? Why do liberals go there so quickly? No one does that except for THEM.

(Question– does this mean literally everyone who participates in The Gong Show’s famous “Who’s a cheeky monkey?” shtick is a racist too? Because I always shout, “YOU ARE!” Every time.)

Florida Democratic Party Chairwoman Terrie Rizzo immediately pounced, accusing DeSantis of using “racist dog whistles.”

“It’s disgusting that Ron DeSantis is launching his general election campaign with racist dog whistles,” Rizzo said in a statement.

Gillum’s campaign spokesman Geoff Burgan said, “DeSantis’ comments speak for themselves.”
