Jimmy Kimmel And Tom Arnold Discuss The Hunt For The ‘Trump Tapes’

This interview might be the very definition of pathetic.

Tom Arnold sat down with Jimmy Kimmel last night, and the two basically gushed over their mutual disdain of President Trump. Apparently, Arnold has a show coming out next month called, “The Hunt for the Trump Tapes,” which is exactly what it sounds like. Arnold is hunting for the tapes of Trump using the n-word. That says a lot more about Arnold than it does about Trump. Get a life, dude.

He’s insisting the tape is out there. It’s allegedly a tape from behind the scenes of “The Apprentice.”

“They know it’s true,” Arnold said of Trump and the reality show’s creator, Mark Burnett. “They absolutely know it’s true.” Just this week, Trump tweeted that Burnett called to assure him “there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a terrible and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa.”

As Arnold insisted that America will see the alleged tape soon, Kimmel said, “You keep saying you will. When? When he’s like, retired?”

Arnold couldn’t answer that question, but he did tell Kimmel, “Here’s the truth about Donald Trump that I’ve known from day one: He is incompetent. He’s not even the smartest Trump on the [Apprentice] set!” If the American people get to see the tape of Trump in question, he added, they too will realize “he’s incompetent, he is racist, he sexually harasses people.”

I don’t know if the tape exists. Maybe it’s out there, maybe it isn’t. I don’t use that word– it’s truly NEVER been in my vocabulary– but I want some consistency. If it’s OK for rappers to use it dozens of times in their songs– one could argue that they’re making BANK on that word– don’t act like it’s some huge deal. If it’s a truly evil, despicable word, stop singing it in your car. Obama, stop dancing to it at Jay-Z’s concerts. Rappers, stop making money off of it.

Consistency. That’s all I ask for.
