Trump Revokes Former CIA Director John Brennan’s Security Clearance

This just in. President Trump has revoked former CIA Director John Brennan’s security clearance. Sarah Sanders made the announcement.

“Historically, former heads of intelligence and law enforcement agencies have been allowed to retain access to classified information after their government service so that they can consult with their successors regarding matters about which they may have special insights and as a professional courtesy,” Sarah Sanders said. “Neither of these justifications supports Mr. Brennan’s continued access to classified information.”

Trump is a vindictive dictator who punishes people for speaking out against him. Revoking John Brennan’s security clearance simply for exercising his First Amendment rights is a gross abuse of presidential power. The Office of the President serves the American people, not Trump.
