Interestingly enough, a few days ago, a bunch of people in Chicago rallied together to bring attention to gun violence within the city. To which I say, it’s about freaking time they start realizing that gun violence is a PROBLEM in their gun control utopia.
They specifically called for the resignation of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who has been utterly unable and unwilling to address the root of the city’s problem. Guns aren’t the problem. Their CULTURAL ROT is the problem. Even Democratic leaders in the community are calling for Trump’s help.
“Not everyone believes Chicago is a Trump-free zone. If he’s serious about helping the people … I accept his help. We can’t turn any help away,” Democratic State Rep. La Shawn Ford said.
It’s nice to see Democrats admit that Trump isn’t causing the violence within the city.
Speaking of, over 50 people were shot in Chicago over the weekend.
Since midnight, police said 40 people have been shot, four fatally. Since Friday at 5 p.m., 57 people have been shot, six fatally, in shootings in Chicago. https://t.co/wJCGRzAowW

The violence has spilled over into Monday morning, including a murder that happened just after midnight in the Roseland neighborhood not far from Chicago State University.
A person in a ski-mask fired shots at two people standing in front of a home. A 50-year-old man died a 55-year-old woman was hurt.
In the Fuller Park neighborhood, three people were shot by someone in a ski mask and a black hoodie.
Horrific.
Two more people shot since I sent that tweet pic.twitter.com/mi1NmA4pBd

REALLY CHICAGO?
Came into @WGNNews this morning, to learn 30 people were shot between midnight and 3A.
Two people are dead.
There were 4 mass shootings & 10 shooting locations.
Police say it was a night like nothing they’ve ever seen.
We’re on @wgnnews at 7-9A with the latest.— Courtney Gousman (@cgousman) August 5, 2018
Why isn’t this all over the news????? No, no. I’m talking about one simple morning segment. I’m talking MAJOR coverage. I’m talking the way MSM covers any other mass shooting situation.
We know why they don’t roll that way. Because it doesn’t fit the narrative. If MSM were to report on this day in and day out, they’d be forced to admit that NRA members aren’t the source of Chicago’s problem.
This should be the lead on every newscast with national media descending on Chicago for the full week. How this is relatively accepted as the new normal is just depressing… https://t.co/UTyVWz3r5X

Exactly. This is normal for Chicago, and it is NOT OK.
