August 2, 2018Everyone knows Ivanka Trump doesn’t see eye to eye on absolutely EVERYTHING with her father. That’s normal. Very seldom do you agree with someone 100% of the time, even if they’re your BFF, significant other or a member of your immediate family.
Trump has been slapping MSM around left and right, and it’s not unwarranted. They treat him like crap. They treat his administration like crap. They treat his family like crap. They lie day in and day out, and he’s over it. We ALL are. We’re sick of egomaniacs like Jim Acosta running around, pretending to be a champion of the people. He’s not. He’s a smarmy jerk who gets off on lying to the American people on a daily basis.
MSM carries the bulk of responsibility for dividing this country. They’ve been doing it for quite some time, but Trump’s presidential victory really brought out the worst in them. They don’t even TRY to hide it anymore. It’s really quite sad. They constantly pump out straight up #FakeNews in small portions, designed to get the low-fos all riled up for absolutely no reason.
THEY are doing this. That’s why Trump has described MSM, in some cases, as an “enemy of the people.” They HATE that we elected Trump. They won’t admit it, but they truly feel like WE– those who voted for Trump– are their enemy.
However, Ivanka Trump is taking a softer approach. She reportedly said that she doesn’t view the press as the “enemy of the people.”
Ivanka Trump said at an Axios event on Thursday that she doesn’t view the media as the “enemy of the people,” breaking with President Trump’s repeated public statements.
Why it matters: Ivanka noted that she herself has been the subject of stories she knows to be false, but that she doesn’t believe the media is the enemy.
Ivanka simply has a different approach. Her statements are more measured. She’s not her father. She’s not her brothers, and we’ve known that. You’re not going to hear her in a corner, shouting #FakeNews! (Now THAT would be a story!)
I guess that’s why this isn’t shocking to me.
