According to this, a victim of a hit and run says he was targeted because of his Trump bumper sticker.
The man said he was stopped at a red light and noticed the person behind him acting all crazy. He kept driving, but the erratic behavior continued, so he got out at the next light to see if something was wrong with his car.
The woman started screaming about Donald Trump.
“I could hear her screaming out of the car or something, so I thought man maybe something’s wrong with my car,” he said. “I get out, all of a sudden I hear, ‘you’re racist’ a bunch of cuss words.”
She asked him if he voted for Trump, to which he said, “Yeah, what of it?”
“The first thing she said when I came out of the car was ‘Did you vote for Trump?’ and I was like ‘Yeah, what of it.’ And that was pretty much what triggered this, it was like nonstop,” he said.
He said the woman ultimately drove into the back of his car and drove extremely close to his foot and basically clipped his door.
“She bent my door and I had to lean back to avoid getting hit,” he wrote. “She also hit the side of my car.”
He supposedly recorded part of the incident.
“Her tire was right next to my foot,” he said. “That could have ended really bad.”
The woman has been identified as 25-year-old Chloe Wright. She “faces charges of vandalizing property and leaving the scene of property damage. She was released on $1,250 bail and was ordered to stay away from the victim,” according to the Cape Cod Times.
