As we told you earlier, CNN’s Whiny Jim Acosta covered Trump’s rally in Tampa Tuesday night. I’m starting to wonder if he thought he would actually be the recipient of respect, because he seemed legitimately shocked that people heckled him.
During his live report, he was all, “They’re saying things like ‘CNN sucks,’ ‘go home,’ and ‘fake news.’”
He was very offended by that but tried to spin it into a positive. He’s down in the trenches! He’s getting dirty FOR THE PEOPLE!
“Wolf, obviously all of those things are false,” Acosta said. “We’re staying right here, we’re going to do our job and report on this rally to all of our viewers here tonight, Wolf.”
Here’s what it looked like behind the scenes:

Acosta also responded to his night on Twitter. He really wants us to feel sorry for him. He’s basically a martyr for journalism. Almost.
Just a sample of the sad scene we faced at the Trump rally in Tampa. I’m very worried that the hostility whipped up by Trump and some in conservative media will result in somebody getting hurt. We should not treat our fellow Americans this way. The press is not the enemy. pic.twitter.com/IhSRw5Ui3R

I’m not going to condone heckling, but it amazes me that Acosta truly doesn’t see why everyone hates him. He’s a biased tool who operates under the guise of objectivity. Everyone knows this. He, arguably, is contributing to the divide in this country.
I’d also like to note that it’s LIBERAL protesters– like Antifa– who usually resort to Actual Violence. Why doesn’t Acosta tweet his concerns about them?
#Truth @Acosta https://t.co/aCfFoeqL1f

No Eric. Not the truth. And you know better. https://t.co/f01GWOE70t
— Jim Acosta (@Acosta) August 1, 2018
As you can see, Jim thinks he’s Eric’s Daddy.
Acosta also retweeted this:
Simple fact: Jim and all our colleagues in the free press on this side of the pond are reporting FOR the American people.

Oh. Then there was this.
One of the surprising things I heard tonight in Tampa is Trump supporters saying I should be on their team. Anybody remember when we were all on the same team? I do.
— Jim Acosta (@Acosta) August 1, 2018
Wait wait wait. When was that? OHHH. Wait yes. I DO remember! The good ol’ days where you resided in Obama’s colon. Good times.
Here are more of Acosta’s retweets:

Irony is the crowd at this rally has a lot more in common with @Acosta than Trump. His dad was Cuban refugee, he went to public schools, public university. Middle class. Compared to Trump’s inherited wealth, private schools, Fifth Avenue. @acosta is actually one of their own. https://t.co/4nI7olSKuW

After each live shot, @Acosta would walk down and politely talk to the people who just heckled him. He talked to one group for at least 15 minutes. pic.twitter.com/J26nlxfD6k

I’ve covered presidential candidates in both parties – more Republicans than Democrats – and it didn’t used to be this way. I’m not asking for sympathy & every American has a right to agree/disagree. But even at its worst, it wasn’t like this. We’re just trying to do our jobs. https://t.co/VpegkKdAfQ

Look, this is just wrong, folks. Sends the wrong message and gives the other side ammunition. We’re better than this. Please be respectful to all whether you agree w/ them or not. @Acosta has always been respectful to us on the trail- even @realDonaldTrump says he’s a nice guy! https://t.co/K4bfXO0pAY

Then there was this:
Another snapshot from Trump’s Tampa rally, I tried to take a picture with a father and his daughter while people yelled “CNN sucks” in my face. I am sorry that this little girl had to see that. pic.twitter.com/DIHPpCdbb6

I’m just gonna leave this here:
