Former President Obama just released his list of endorsements for the midterms. He’s really trying to make the “Blue Wave” happen.
I actually have no idea if it’s going to happen. I just really wanted to use that GIF.
ANYWHO. Here they are. He’s “proud to endorse such a wide and impressive array of Democratic candidates.”
Today I’m proud to endorse such a wide and impressive array of Democratic candidates – leaders as diverse, patriotic, and big-hearted as the America they’re running to represent: pic.twitter.com/gWzalQhFas

I’m confident that, together, they’ll strengthen this country we love by restoring opportunity, repairing our alliances and standing in the world, and upholding our fundamental commitment to justice, fairness, responsibility, and the rule of law. But first, they need our votes.

Here’s a closer look:
Interestingly enough, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez isn’t on the list. As Free Beacon points out:
The list of candidates endorsed by Obama includes prospective Democratic lawmakers from 14 states. Although the list contains two candidates from New York, the president did not endorse congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or any Democrat in the state’s gubernatorial primary, which pits Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D.) against actress and progressive activist Cynthia Nixon.
Hm. Interesting that he deliberately didn’t remark on those races, huh?
Maybe he’ll throw his support behind her eventually. I’m sure he really DOES support her and really DOES want her to win, but I’m not sure if he’s prepared to PUBLICLY throw his support behind an outspoken, unapologetic socialist.
