Rudy Giuliani made the talk show rounds this morning and blasted Michael Cohen, accusing him of manipulating the tapes.
… “there is no doubt one of [the tapes] were cut off,” he said on “Fox & Friends.”
“He erased them, sure,” Giuliani said. “Is this a recording of a recording? Did he cut it off at the time? Or go to a laboratory or whatever the hell he had and cut it off?”
Giuliani said Monday that the Trump team actually knows of “183 recordings” from Cohen, but many of them involved people having nothing to do with Trump. Giuliani said the now-public Trump-Cohen tape is the only one involving the president.
The others, Giuliani explained, are recordings where Cohen is speaking with third parties and describing his version of what happened in regard to payments to McDougal and adult film star Stormy Daniels, who has also said she had an affair with Trump before his election as president.
“That will give you an idea of what a scoundrel he was,” Giuliani said of Cohen.

Wait. There’s more. He also talked allllllllll about the Mueller investigation.
“Four months, they’re not going to be colluding with Russia, which I don’t even know if that’s a crime, colluding about Russians,” Giuliani told CNN’s Alisyn Camerota. “You start analyzing the crime — the hacking is the crime. … The President didn’t hack.”

He’s right, but I fail to see how that’s helpful in any way. If there’s no collusion, what’s the point of bringing up that point up?
Rudy Giuliani seems to have moved the Trump team goalposts from "no collusion" to "collusion is not a crime." https://t.co/seBnSdJ0R6

Don’t give MSM anything more to chew on.

In related news, Giuliani says Trump’s team is already in the process of crafting a report to counter Mueller’s report. He told USA Today that he believes Mueller’s team is “writing the report as we speak.”
Giuliani’s own team is preparing its “counter-report,” which he said will be released after his team has a chance to review whatever Mueller files with the Justice Department. But it’s unclear whether the special counsel will file anything with DOJ.
Mueller’s office declined to comment on Giuliani’s comments.
PS– still no word on what this tweet means.
