“AR-15s ARE EEEEVIL.”
“AR-15s ARE COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY.”
“AR-15s LOOK SUPER SCARY AND THAT’S WHY I HATE THEM.”
We hear this pretty often, don’t we?
You know what the liberals REFUSE to say?
An AR-15 can save someone’s life!
And it just did in Florida.
Today in Very Florida News: an incident report from a local law enforcement agency just arrived, informing that an alligator trapped a 15-year-old girl in a tree, so a deputy shot it with an AR-15.

…DANG.
Shockingly, The Washington Post did a great job explaining why, in this case, the AR was ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.

Nature has made American alligators nearly perfect predators. The species hasn’t needed to evolve in any substantial way for 8 million years, according to research from the University of Florida.
But genetic progress did not account for AR-15-style semiautomatic rifles.
Blackmon was carrying one, and when he arrived, the alligator hissed, unfazed by his presence. He shouldered the rifle. The alligator turned toward him.
“I fired one single 223 round from my Bushmaster AR15 killing the alligator,” Blackmon wrote, noting the .223 caliber of the rifle ammunition. Jordan was helped down, and no person suffered injuries, the report said.
“Nearly perfect predators” don’t get taken down with rocks and conversation, libs.
Here’s the 911 call and more info:
The mother sounds understandably frantic:
According to Inside Edition:
A terrified 15-year-old girl clung to a tree over a Florida lake, an alligator hissing below, as her mother frantically called 911 for help. “My daughter is stuck in a frickin’ tree and there are gators surrounding her. We can’t get her out. She’s just 15,” the mom cries. “Oh my God. Please hurry! Please hurry!” The girl had been rafting in Freak Creek during a family outing when she noticed a gator following her in the water, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
Which is a pretty convincing argument on carrying your own gun, if you ask me.
Had to call police (someone with a gun) & waited 30 minutes for a response in a life threatening situation. They should have had their own firearm for immediate protection.
