Wow Ariana. You really know how to pick ’em.
As you’ve probably heard, Ariana Grande is engaged to SNL’s Pete Davidson. It happened pretty fast.
Just so you know, this is the same Pete Davidson who did this.
Why yes. That IS a crappy tattoo of Hillary Clinton!
If that doesn’t say it all, this does.
Pete made a really crappy joke about the Manchester attack.
The 24-year-old comedian reportedly made the disgusting gag in a stand-up routine after 22 people died at the Manchester Arena on May 22, 2017.
The heinous attack took the lives of nine teenagers and an eight-year-old girl after a homemade bomb ripped through the foyer as they were leaving the Dangerous Woman tour concert.
Now a mother who lost her 15-year-old daughter has branded the joke ‘heartbreaking’ and ‘outrageous’, reports The Mirror.
In the routine, which was allegedly performed at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles five months after the blast and a year before their romance began, Davidson joked about Ariana’s fame.
He said Ariana must have realised how famous she had become because ‘Britney Spears didn’t have a terrorist attack at her concert’.
Oh Pete…no. No no no. Who told him that was a good idea?
Charlotte Hodgson lost her daughter in the attack and had some words for Pete.
“For anyone to joke about this situation is disgusting and I think he should publicly apologize for it,” she said. “The families will find it equally as disgusting. We don’t need jokes about it, there have been plenty around, and it’s heartbreaking to hear every day.”
That should NEVER be the part of any joke or standup routine. Ever.
One survivor, Jade Clough, told The Mirror, “This isn’t something to joke about, it was a terrorist attack targeted at children. You don’t joke about things like that in a stand-up comedy show.”
“I’m still suffering on a daily basis, I still have nightmares, and Ariana herself has suffered from PTSD. What the hell?”
That’s all there is to say. What the Actual Hell, Pete?
