Watch The Socialist Sweetheart Try To Explain The Difference Between “Socialism” And “Democratic Socialism”

Whenever we write about American Socialists and how they seem to have absolutely no awareness of the fact that Socialism has failed EVERYWHERE it’s EVER been attempted, some nut ALWAYS says:

“OMGAWD. THEY’RE NOT SOCIALISTS. THEY’RE DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISTS. EDUCATE YOURSELVES.”

Aaaalrighty. So let’s have Little Miss Socialist Hero HERSELF educate us, shall we?

OOOOHHHH.

“First of all, there’s a huge difference between socialism and Democratic socialism,” Ocasio-Cortez claimed. “Democratic socialism, and really what that boils down to me, is the basic belief that I believe that in a moral and wealthy America and a moral and modern America, no person should be too poor to live in this country.”

So, um. There is no difference and it’s all bullcrap. Got it.

“That’s what I believe,” she continues. “I can understand that there may be some divisions. You know, I don’t think people wake up in the morning and say, ‘I’m a capitalist!’”

(FUN DRINKING GAME: Take a shot every time she says believe/belief)

I mean… I have a coffee cup that says “I’m A Capitalist” on it. So speak for yourself. (No I don’t. But I really wish I did. If someone can make this happen for me, I’d pay you in friendship.)

Here’s socialism at work, folks. It looks SWELL.

BUT DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM IS DIFFERENT BECAUSE SHE BELIEVES IN THE BELIEF THAT POOR PEOPLE SHOULDN’T BE POOR.
