Susan Sarandon has joined in the ranks of mouthbreathers who think ICE should be “Abolished.”
According to the Daily Caller:
Actress Susan Sarandon was arrested on Thursday while protesting President Donald Trump’s “zero-tolerance” immigration policy in Washington, D.C.
The political activist was one of 575 female protesters arrested at a staged sit-in, which took place inside the Hart Senate Office Building, reported The Daily Caller News Foundation.
Sarandon tweeted about her arrest. “Arrested. Stay strong. Keep fighting. #WomenDisobey,” she tweeted Thursday. Police confirmed the arrest, according to the Independent.
Arrested. Stay strong. Keep fighting. #WomenDisobey

Earlier in the day, Sarandon urged others to join the march, which called for the abolishment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and demanded freedom for immigrants.
Abolishing ICE & family separations/detention is bigger than either of us. If ur in D.C., please come out & march. #WomenDisobey https://t.co/BUupSCJ6Rv

The Women’s March helped organize the demonstration. Its official account retweeted various twitter users praising the women for their actions that led to the arrests.
What’s interesting (and sort of hilarious) is how much hate she’s getting from the LEFT!
Sarandon came under fire from Democrats after refusing to vote for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. Many blamed the actress for recommending that people instead vote for the Green Party candidate Jill Stein.
Susan: “To me Hillary is more dangerous than Donald Trump.”
Sounds like she is misguided, not her detractors.

Perhaps an apology would clear the air.

#butHERemails it is asinine to talk about coming together now, you @SusanSarandon refused to support Hillary. Look at where we r now? How do you reconcile these positions, when you refused to come together after @SenSanders lost? Bona side #Fascism, is a thing thanks to you.

SUSAN SARANDON INVENTED FASCISM, YOU GUYS!
“Some people feel that Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately, if he gets in. Then things will really, you know, explode,” – GREAT, Susan. Too bad it’s other people and not you suffering from the fallout.

This is why we have to stick to facts. Anyone with half a brain knew Hillary, although not perfect, wasn’t going to be as bad as Trump. The people who are suffering now, tried to warn others just how dangerous Trump was. Now, here we are. SMH!

You are a partner to this crime Susan.

One of my best friends voted for Galisano, another voted for Nader. After they were proven to have contributed to the win of jerks, they apologized because they were wrong…

YOU MUST APOLOGIZE OR ELSE!
The 2016 election was “bigger than either of us” but didn’t stop you from supporting JS. I get it, I voted Nader but since then realized & admitted my mistake. Until rules change 3rd parties are spoilers. Fight to change those rules first. Admit your mistake to help the cause now

“bigger than either of us” LOL K SUSAN HASHTAG ALL LIVES MATTER

Thank you for helping Trump pick another SC Justice.

Too bad you didn’t have that attitude before the election. You have a hand in creating this mess. You should be ashamed of yourself. I will never support you as an artist again.

Proving once again that Liberals will attack ANYONE who doesn’t march in step… even if they share the same supposed “values.”
