This is SO lame.
…and entirely unsurprising at this point.

Now… let me be clear about this.
I’ve said this before, I’ll say it again. I don’t believe a private business should have to serve anyone they don’t want to serve.
I don’t think the Christian bakers should HAVE to bake the cake. I don’t think unhinged liberal country club owners should HAVE to host a GOP fundraiser.
I also believe we are completely within our right to expose them. Your decisions are NEVER free from consequence. So do I think the club should be forced to host the event? Absolutely not (though it was a d*ck move to cancel. They shouldn’t have allowed her to plan the event there in the first place. If they went back on a contract, I think legal action COULD be appropriate.)
That doesn’t mean we’re not going to talk about it. That doesn’t mean we’re not going to encourage Conservatives who disagree with Epstein’s treatment to stop patronizing this establishment.
It’s one thing to shop/spend money at a liberal-owned or run establishment that treats everyone with respect. That’s the way it SHOULD be, and I do it all the time. It’s another to keep giving money to those who spit in our faces.
Are we all clear?
According to Fox News:
Michigan congressional candidate Lena Epstein says a country club cancelled her planned event because of her support of President Donald Trump.
lena Epstein, who’s running for the open seat in Michigan’s 11th Congressional District, was supposed to hold a fundraising event at Franklin Hills Country Club in Franklin, Mich., Wednesday night.
Epstein says she got a call last week from a board member telling her that they voted to cancel her event because of her political beliefs.
On “Fox & Friends,” Epstein revealed that one of her Democratic opponents in the race recently held an event at the country club.
“They called off our event because of my support for the president,” Epstein said, noting that she’s a fourth-generation member of the club.
Ainsley Earhardt pointed out that the son of a former president of the club, Michael Simon, slammed Epstein in a since-deleted Facebook post, calling her a “neo-fascist” who’s building a coalition of “vicious anti-Semites, racists and xenophobes.”
HAHAHA. Of course.
Epstein said that’s typical of the vitriol and hate that’s being spewed by many on the left.
“This is not just about political discrimination for one fundraiser at one country club,” Epstein said. “I think what we’re seeing right now is a lack of tolerance for Trump supporters.”
She called on Democrats to “elevate the conversation” and express political disagreements in a civil manner.
Yeah… we’ll see about that.
