While I don’t feel as though this is as significant or historic as the Trump-Kim summit, it’s still something.
President Trump will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland July 16th. That’s right. The Trump-Putin summit is going down.

The White House announced that the two will discuss “relations between the United States and a range of national security issues” when they meet.

Resisters are freaking out, because it’s what they do best.
On July 6, Putin & Trump to meet in Helsinki. Critical meeting between the 2 authoritarians before the 2018 Midterms.
Can you hack our US election again?
How do you not get caught this time?
Vladimir, am I doing a great job alienating US allies?

BREAKING: Meeting between Russian President & Murderer Vladimir Putin and U.S. President & Liar Donald Trump will be held in Helsinki on July 16.
This comes after Trump, this morning, cast doubt on if Russia really meddled in our elections.
Trump is a TRAITOR!

Two authoritarian political leaders are meeting in Helsinki. Dialogue is always a better option than growing tensions, but especially at this time, Finland and the civil society must raise human rights issues and the importance of multilateral organisations such as the UN.

Donald Trump is going to Helsinki to get instructions from Putin.

So Helsinki is really a campaign planning meeting. https://t.co/phEc8gWTe5

I will say that Trump’s morning tweet was slightly troll-y.
Russia continues to say they had nothing to do with Meddling in our Election! Where is the DNC Server, and why didn’t Shady James Comey and the now disgraced FBI agents take and closely examine it? Why isn’t Hillary/Russia being looked at? So many questions, so much corruption!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 28, 2018
Oy vey. But July 16th. Mark your calendars, kiddie-winkies.
