June 27, 2018Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a 28-year-old socialist, beat out Democrat Rep. Joe Crowley in New York’s 14th district primary race. This is huge for a number of reasons. 1.) Crowley is the 4th ranking Democrat in the House and was expected to take over as the leader of the Democrats after Pelosi and 2.) The idiots in that district voted for an Actual Socialist.
This is the new Democratic Party. It’s the party of intolerance, hate and socialism. Instead of realizing that mindlessly #resisting is the worst strategy in the history of strategies, Democrats are going with it. But Pelosi’s kinda sorta worried about it. Yes, she’s ABSOLUTELY a radical progressive, but she doesn’t proudly proclaim it. She’s old school. She tries to hide her extremist views. But the new folks in their party? They shout it from the rooftops.
Pelosi desperately tried to downplay the fact that an Actual Socialist beat Crowley, and it was something else.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says while the New York City district of a defeated Democratic congressman may have shifted to the left, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s happening everywhere.
The California Democrat spoke to reporters Wednesday, hours after the surprise primary defeat of Rep. Joe Crowley. He’s a 10-term lawmaker who’s been part of the party’s House leadership.
Pelosi says, “Nobody’s district is representative of somebody else’s district.” She says the outcome is “just a sign of vitality of our party.”
Translation: “This DOES NOT reflect the country as a whole. There is NOTHING TO SEE HERE PEOPLE!” *nervous laugh* -what Pelosi feels on the inside.
