It appears Trump may have found someone to take over Hope Hicks’ old gig.
Bill Shine.
Yes, former co-president of Fox News Bill Shine.

The former co-president of Fox News is reportedly in ‘final talks’ to become the White House communications director.
He was expected to be offered the job according to sources who told The New York Times, taking over the position vacated by Hope Hicks when she left in March.
Fox News reporter John Roberts tweeted that an “announcement could be soon.”

The former Fox News executive was close to Roger E. Ailes, the network’s chairman who was ousted amid a wave of sexual harassment allegations. Though Shine left the network last May over the handling of the allegations, he has denied any wrongdoing.
Shine has reportedly been spending time at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida along with the president and mutual friend, Fox News host Sean Hannity, according to Politico. Hannity had been advocating for Shine in the communications director position for the last few months “big time” behind the scenes, a source told CNN.
The left is already losing it:

Shine denied any wrongdoing but had been accused in several lawsuits of covering up the behavior of Roger Ailes and dismissing concerns from women who complained. He also had advocated keeping Bill O'Reilly. https://t.co/oTazImIUKB

Oh nice! He fits the job description for men working in the Trump administration! Looks the part and is a sexual harasser! Trumps new best friend!

Another #deplorable POS too low for Pravda State News – he'll fit right in

But of course, Bill Shine should be WH Comms Director. He's very well qualified in sexual harassment / sexual assault cover ups. Is Jeffrey Epstein going to be in charge of interns? @realdonaldtrump

He’s a perfect choice for this administration, they need a “cleaner”, but Trump’s strategy, like all he does, is flawed. Shine ultimately got caught and exposed for all the despicable coverup he did for FoxNews. The outcome will be no different with his work at the White House.

revolting! but possibly the only person left in America that it can't hurt his career.

Trump: We got any dirt on Shine?
Aide: Oh yeah, tons.
Trump: Great!… get him on board!#Trumptanic pic.twitter.com/RLeyFvNbwb

But not everyone thinks this is such a bad idea…
If Bill Shine gets the job of White House communications director, that will be good for the country. Shine is smart and honest. But the President has to listen to him!
