…but divorce happens.
My parents are divorced. While I was sad about it for a while, I realize now that they are two great people who just didn’t make a great pair towards the end. They are wonderful loving parents who support me, that will never change. But ultimately… I’m glad they got divorced. They were each able to move on with their lives and find happiness. Which has, in turn, improved my relationship with each of them. It’s wonderful to see my parents happy. That’s what love is, right?
Anyway… I’ve talked about Don Jr. and Vanessa’s divorce before. I was sad to hear about it, because the end of a marriage is always sad. And of course, they have five little kids.
Divorce isn’t easy… and getting a divorce in front of the liberal media that finds GLEE in your failures and heartbreak?
Well, that sounds pretty damn near impossible.
But I have to give them both MAJOR props for the way they’ve handled this.
When rumors started circulating of Don Jr. dating Fox News’ Kimberly Guilfoyle, people started attacking her, him, and anyone they could spit their hate at. Vanessa’s response was PURE CLASS.
And now, with what appears to be the mother of his children’s blessing, Don Jr. is going public with his new relationship.
Donald Trump Jr and new girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle spent a romantic weekend together in… the wilds of Montana?
President Donald Trump’s oldest son shared photos of what looked to be a very fun outdoors getaway on Instagram.
“Great time floating the Stillwater River yesterday in MT with @kimberlyguilfoyle. It doesn’t get prettier than this. What a way to spend a weekend,” read a caption in one photo.
In a state where his father trounced Hillary Clinton, 55.6 to 35.4, Trump Jr. received a nice welcome for the MAGA crew.
“As if I needed another reason to love Montana. It’s always cool when some friendly neighbors hear you’re shooting with their friends and come over with their #maga flags,” he noted in another post.
With the weekend off from her job as co-host of Fox News’ The Five,” Guilfoyle also shared a photo of her and her beau, devoid of the usual glamour seen when she’s on air.
And she still looked fabulous!
“Amazing weekend in Montana with @donaldjtrumpjr here are some shots from our trip to the Stillwater River which we floated for the day on Saturday,” she said.
Now I’m sure some won’t agree with me, but you know what?
I LOVE seeing people happy!
And going fishing in Montana? That sounds like my idea of heaven. So um… if they’re down to double date, my boyfriend and I would OBVIOUSLY make the trip. (hehe)
