Confession: I don’t really know how “woke” became a millennial term, because I’ve never actually heard anyone say it in a normal conversation. We say it mockingly, sure. But I’ve never heard someone say, “Yeah– they’re seriously woke, dude” with a straight face.
For those who don’t know, “woke” is a term used to describe people who are like, super aware and “with it.” Think of it as the less sophisticated word for “enlightened.” You finally see the light. You’re aware of the *important* things in life.
Eh, screw it. Just take Urban Dictionary’s word for it.
Although an incorrect tense of awake, a reference to how people should be aware in current affairs
“While you are obsessing with the Kardashians, there are millions of homeless in the world. STAY WOKE“
Libs like Rosie O’Donnell think they’re woke. You’ll find them using the term more often than anyone else, but it’s becoming increasingly problematic, because they’re becoming SO woke that they can’t even have fun anymore.
Social justice never sleeps, after all!
Don’t worry. There’s a support group for that.
Turn the volume down if you’re near kiddies. There’s a language *surprise* at the end.

“One moment you’re carrying a reusable water bottle, fine. And the next minute you’re arguing that water is racist.”
That is what bing woke is all about.
You’re welcome.
