Sarah Sanders was kicked out of Red Hen restaurant in Virginia, because she works for President Trump. Yes, really.
“I just served Sarah Huckabee Sanders for a total of 2 minutes before my owner kicked her out along with 7 of her other family members,” a waitress said, according to TMZ.
Apparently, the owner decided Sanders couldn’t be there due to personal moral convictions.
Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so

This is the left in all of its tolerant glory. Soak it all in.
Bigotry. On the menu at Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington VA. Or you can ask for the “Hate Plate”. And appetizers are “small plates for small minds” https://t.co/rHEVdcQwwh

I guess we’re heading into an America with Democrat-only restaurants, which will lead to Republican-only restaurants. Do the fools who threw Sarah out, and the people who cheer them on, really want us to be that kind of country? https://t.co/n7RxHHoYF3

Not to mention that the argument isn’t even really comparable. We’re talking about religious beliefs vs. personal political convictions: Two VERY different scenarios.
Some denial of service based on moral conviction/conscience is good and righteous, you see… https://t.co/yKkmvplJLJ

Instead of a blue plate special, the Red Hen in Lexington, VA is serving up a hate plate special. https://t.co/o0M4bbnela

Calls for boycotts ensued, and this tweet followed.
Good morning! @PressSec went to the unaffiliated @RedHenLex last night, not to our DC-based restaurant.

This isn't the first time something like this has happened. Earlier this week, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was shouted out of a Mexican restaurant.
"Tolerance."
