What I want people to remember is that the young children getting caught up in all of this ARE NOT AT FAULT. Children are a precious gift – and my heart absolutely breaks for those whose circumstances have led them to migrant detention centers. I am angry at their parents, at those who would hurt or abuse them, at the corruption that led them here – NOT at them.
Melania gets that…. and that’s why I love her.
