June 19, 2018High School graduation is supposed to be an exciting and memorable event in someone’s life.
(Full disclosure: I just realized I don’t remember mine AT ALL. I graduated High School in 2009, so it wasn’t even THAT long ago. Is that weird?)
Anyway… students of Vanguard High School in Manhattan WILL be remembering THEIR High School graduation… for all the wrong reasons.
Today’s graduation ceremony was evacuated after someone called in a bomb threat.

A Manhattan high school graduation was evacuated Tuesday morning after a bomb threat.
Vanguard High School students and their families were gathered for the ceremony when someone called into the school and said two pipe bombs at the building would be detonated in just 35 minutes.
Cops rushed to the Julia Richman Education Complex on the Upper East Side around 9:45am and promptly evacuated the building.
Police combed the building and deemed it safe just after 11am.
Is this just the world we live in now?
