Hollywood is a liberal cesspool.
But… is it possible that there are more closeted conservatives than we realized?
And could the tides soon be turning?
The actor who played Tim Allen’s son on “Home Improvement” certainly seems to think so.
According to this:
A former Hollywood child star revealed that there are actually more conservatives in Tinseltown than expected but they keep a low profile.
Because they’ll literally get mobbed.
Isn’t it funny how a group of people that’s aaaaaall about “diversity” and “tolerance” and “coming out” will also immediately turn their backs on one specific group of people?
Zachery Ty Bryan admitted it’s been fun to watch as liberal Hollywood celebrities have had to cope with the election of President Trump, and not done it very well.
The actor played the son of Tim “The Toolman” Taylor along side one of the most beloved Hollywood conservatives, Tim Allen, in the hit 1990s sitcom “Home Improvement.”
Well, I’ll say! That was pretty interesting.
Hollywood is in an “echo chamber” similar to the Washington establishment, Bryan, said Saturday on “Fox & Friends.” Trump caught Hollywood off guard, Bryan added, as they had fully expected Hillary Clinton to succeed former President Barack Obama in the White House.
“It’s been fun to watch,” Bryan admitted.
“Fun” is an understatement. It’s been GLORIOUS.
The 36-year-old actor and producer espouses very different political views from many of his colleagues, having grown up outside of the bubble of most of the Hollywood elite. Bryan explained he comes from a family originally from southeastern Colorado where they grew wheat and corn.
“Surprisingly, there’s a lot more conservatives in Hollywood than you would expect,” he said. “They don’t necessarily talk about it. They stay more anonymous.”
He compared the Hollywood political divide to various cliques in high school.
“It reminds me kind of like high school, you know,” Bryan said. “You’ve got the cool clique: they think everybody should be like them. And the party of tolerance and acceptance is only accepting if you agree with them.”
But the actor believes there is a “new wave,” and “the pendulum is swinging the other way, and I’m proud to be a part of it.”
You know what sucks?
The older I get, the more I realize that LIFE is like High School.
People are bitter and cliquey. People hold grudges, are wildly insecure, and put others down to feel better about themselves.
People never grow up… add a dash of Hollywood narcissism to that and you have THE WORST OF THE WORST.
