Two trashy TV posts in one day? Yep– sorry! We all get a little politicked out now and then, and this is one of the ways I sit back and let my brain turn to mush.
Trust me. The same will happen for you if you sit back and watch this addicting trash. I hate how much I love it.
As you guys know, my guilty pleasures include “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.” It’s so unrealistic and dumb. Part of the reason I love it is because it’s the ONE time a week on Twitter where politics falls to the wayside and everyone gets together and obsesses over the stupidity of the entire thing.
Well folks. It’s about to get a whole lot dumber.
The creator of “The Bachelor” created a brand new show called “The Proposal.” It involves getting engaged to someone you’ve never met before…pageant style.
It’s taking speed dating to a whole new level.
The show is hosted by Season 5 Bachelor Jesse Palmer. Here’s how it’ll go down.
Each hour of the 10-episode series will follow male or female daters as they try to woo a mystery suitor in different rounds. The “first impressions” round will kick off the show, followed by a beachwear round. Next, they’ll have to answer the mystery suitors’ most pressing romantic questions, before trying to win over a trusted family member.
The mystery suitor will whittle down the group round after round, leaving them with two final daters — and perhaps one proposal.
What kind of person do you have to be to sign up for something so ridiculous? Do they really think they’re going to find “love” on a reality TV show in one hour? It’s a recipe for disaster…which is exactly why I’m not going to be able to resist.
The show premieres Monday, June 18 at 10 pm ET– right after “The Bachelorette.”
It’s going to be a trash-filled night, and I’m totally going to be there for it.
