Cop Killer Sues The City Of New York

A cop killer just sued the city of New York.

…watch him win. Seriously. I wouldn’t be the SLIIIIGHTEST bit surprised.

According to the New York Post:

He killed a cop — and now he wants a payday from the city.

Convicted Queens murderer Demetrius Blackwell — who is serving life in prison without parole for fatally shooting NYPD Officer Brian Moore in May 2015 — whines in court papers he was attacked by two inmates while behind bars.

I’m suuuure he had nothing to do with it. He seems like a really nice guy that stays out of trouble, after all.

Oh wait. Not only did he KILL A COP. He also “has five prior arrests by the NYPD, on charges of criminal possession of a weapon, robbery, grand larceny and assault — twice — between 1999 and 2013, a police spokesman said.” according to Newsday.

Somehow the thought that he had “nothing to do with this” just seems… far fetched.

Blackwell claims he was jumped in April 2017 by two other cons at the Brooklyn Detention Center — thanks to the “carelessness, recklessness and gross negligence” of prison staff.

The 37-year-old killer suffered a “deep,” almost 5-inch slice to his face, according to court papers.

Blackwell — whom a judge described as “a cold, calculating killer’’ at his sentencing — insists that he was an innocent victim in the brawl.

“Innocent victim.” Obviously.

The cop-killer says he was attacked “without provocation and justification,” according to the suit.

Yup. Without a doubt. Just a really nice guy in the wrong place at the wrong time.  You know. Who killed a cop by shooting him in the head.

The melee was caught on surveillance footage, which shows a correction officer using pepper spray to break up the fight.

Blackwell’s two alleged attackers were identified as convicted robbers Kai Watkins, 39, and Layquan Johnson, 34.

Soooo… I keep calling him a “cop killer” …was it all just a little accident??

Blackwell got the book thrown at him when sentenced by Queens Judge Gregory Lasak in December for shooting Moore, a five-year department veteran, in the face while he was on patrol.

Moore and his partner had pulled up to Blackwell, who was suspiciously adjusting his waistband as if he had a gun.

Moore asked Blackwell if he had something in his waist, and thug retorted, “Yeah, I got something!’’ and opened fire.

Nope. Straight up cop MURDERER.

This POS is as vile as it gets.

Again… I don’t condone violence. But EXCUUUUUSE me for not feeling bad that this revolting a-hole got jumped in prison.

Moore was just 25 years old.

“You’re gonna die in prison,’’ Lasak seethed as he sentenced Blackwell to life behind bars. “You’re nothing but a coward.”

The Law Department did not respond to a request for comment on Blackwell’s suit, which did not say how much money he is seeking.

Ok – here’s my idea.

Let him sue. Then EVERY. LAST. CENT. he is rewarded goes to the family of the young police officer he shot in the face and MURDERED.

How’s that?
