As I’ve mentioned before, I used to be a liberal. A pretty flaming one.
There’s one thing that’s NEVER changed though… I’ve always liked manly men.
I’ve really never been interested in dating anyone who can’t carry me over his shoulder, shoot a gun, and change my spark plugs.
That elicited some gasps from friends back in my liberal days, and I’ve always responded the same way. I’m VERY assertive. I’m VERY ambitious. It takes a real MAN to make me feel like a woman… and I have absolutely no interest in being the pants.
Say what you will, I like being the “woman” in my relationship. No one will take that away from me… because I’m a REAL feminist. I can be whoever and whatever I want. And if I want to make dinner for my guy (nearly) every night, THEN I WILL. (I do.)
Take me on. I’ll win.
What I’m getting at, is “manly” men are getting harder and harder to find.
My boyfriend is my dream guy (#blessed) he’s also nearly 13 years older than I am… because they just don’t make them like that anymore.
Secretary of Defense Mattis agrees. We can hardly find enough to qualify for the military. It’s bad.
Secretary of Defense James Mattis warned that the majority of young Americans are unfit for military service after his address to graduates of the Air Force Academy on Wednesday.
“More than 70 percent of 18 to 24-year-old males and females cannot qualify to be a private in the Army … it’s unfortunately going up,” Mattis told reporters.
BECAUSE WE’VE RAISED A GENERATION OF MAN BOYS. (and girls.)
The secretary blamed declining morality for the “combination of illicit drug abuse, illicit drug use, obesity” that is rampant among America’s youth.
He also brings up the fact that they’re valueless and dumb as rocks.
“…Morals, you know, just arrests, that sort of thing and — and there are other reasons. You know, that — you know, they can’t pass the academics, that sort of thing.”
Fat, valueless morons. Those are the majority today’s men.
Lovely.
The figures Mattis cited come from a study by the Council For A Strong America, an organization that focuses on making sure the next generation is prepared to be active citizens. The main factors that disqualified an individual from joining the military were obesity, insufficient education, arrests, and drug use, according to the study.
The key to solving this problem, according to Mattis, is changing how America approaches discipline and behavior.
“But what we’ve got to do is we’ve got to have reward systems that reward people for the right behavior, sometimes nothing more than just calling them out and saying, ‘You did the right thing,’” the defense secretary told reporters.
I guarantee you it’s only getting worse…
Because now these fat valueless morons are raising children of their own.
My mother is a teacher. She says in the past 15 years, she’s seen a SHOCKING decline in discipline and respect… both from the students, and the parents themselves.
Kids TRASH her classroom as parents watch. Then the parents smile about how creative their little demon is.
More than once, she’s been reprimanded for disciplining a child who won’t follow instructions. “Positive reinforcement only!” say the parents, as they pat their demonspawn on the head.
We need to turn this ship around, PRONTO.
