May 10, 2018Back in my “music is life and life is music” stage, I had a few random punky songs I loved. Teddy Geiger’s “For You I Will” was one of my JAMS. I didn’t really listen to any of his other music, but that song was a keeper.
My taste in music has evolved. It’s pretty all over the map. I love ’80s rock, old school country and bluegrass. (I bought a banjo the other day…just sayin’.)
My taste in music hasn’t been the only thing changing. Geiger, who was the teen crush of MANY young girls, used to look like this:

According to Billboard, Geiger was at the 2018 BMI Pop Awards in California on Tuesday to be honored for her songwriting for Shawn Mendes. Mendes performed the songs ‘Mercy’ and ‘There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back.’
Geiger is a former McQuaid Jesuit student who made national airwaves in 2006 with the hit single ‘For You I Will (Confidence)’ that was picked up on Top 40 radio.
Sorry for maybe ruining your teen crush, ladies. But I couldn’t know about this alone.
