Father Shares HEARTBREAKING Pictures Of DISGUSTING VA Room Where Son Was Treated

This boils my blood.

I am so heartbroken by the fact that our veterans have been neglected for so long. I hear things have gotten better… but boy, do they have a LONG way to go.

My boyfriend is medically retired from the military. Ask him about VA care in the early 2000s and he’ll give you a piece of his mind. The VA is a part of our lives… so yes. I take this personally. But as Americans, I think we all should.

THIS is how our HEROES are thanked? YES. it’s personal.

According to this:

U.S. Army veteran Christopher Wilson showed up to a Utah VA clinic only to receive treatment in a dilapidated room covered in trash and debris, sparking a firestorm on social media and an apology from the clinic.

My son is a Veteran of the United States Army. He went to the #VA in Salt Lake City yesterday. This was the condition of the room he was seen in. Very unprofessional, unsanitary and disrespectful. Please retweet. Maybe @realDonaldTrump will see it. pic.twitter.com/P4CMQeE74t

.update, the condition of the room was the way it was when he went in, no other room was offered and no attempt to clean it up was made for the duration of his appointment. No apologies offered. He received injections for a service injury during one of his tours in Iraq.

Injections. He received INJECTIONS in that filthy room.

I wouldn’t want to go IN that room… let alone engage in a procedure that should be STERILE.

Would YOU trust injections in a room full of GARBAGE?

The veteran’s father, Stephen Wilson, tweeted out pictures of the disgusting room, saying his son had gone to receive treatment for wounds received during his two tours in Iraq. The father’s diatribe received more than 15,000 retweets, with the VA chief of staff contacting his son personally to apologize, with the facility releasing a statement saying “medicine is messy,” and that it would “review its policies,” according to Stephen.

.update #VA is going to “review policies”. Says “sometimes medicine is messy.” Casts for diabetic vets done in this room. Not acceptable conditions for anyone. Just clean up between patients! Garbage on the counter, no place to wash hands, instruments not cleaned. #Yuck
