VA Secretary Nominee (And Trump’s Doctor) Ronny Jackson Under Review Due To Allegations Of Misconduct

President Trump nominated Admiral Ronny L. Jackson as VA Secretary last month.

Jackson is also the White House doctor who gave Trump a clean bill of health earlier this year. He dismissed the left’s cries of mental instability and said Trump was “mentally very sharp, very intact…He’s fit for duty.”

“I think he will remain fit for duty for the remainder this term, and even for the remainder of another term if elected,” Jackson said.

The press couldn’t believe it.

ANYWHO. People have been very skeptical of Jackson’s nomination, because they say he doesn’t have any experience in that field. And ever since the update on Trump’s mental and physical health, Democrats have been salty and looking for a way to “get” him.

It looks like they found one.

The ranking Democrat on the Senate Veterans Affairs committee is reviewing allegations he’s hearing about Ronny Jackson, the White House physician and President Trump’s pick to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs. It was unclear late Monday whether the Senate panel would postpone Jackson’s confirmation hearing, which was scheduled for Wednesday, in light of stories about the nominee told by current or former White House medical staff.

Sources familiar with the tales say Sen. Jon Tester’s committee staff is reviewing multiple allegations of a “hostile work environment.” The accusations include “excessive drinking on the job, improperly dispensing meds,” said one of the people familiar, who was granted anonymity to speak frankly about the situation. The other people familiar with the stories also confirmed those details.

If proven true, “it’ll sink his nomination,” said one of the sources.

A “hostile” work environment? “Excessive” drinking? “Improperly dispensing meds”? If any of that is true, WHY DID IT NEVER COME UP BEFORE? This man is the doctor to the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. Surely it would have. Surely they wouldn’t allow a man who IMPROPERLY DISPENSES MEDS to be the President’s doctor. GAWD.

Something smells fishy.

Apparently, Tester’s office started hearing the rumors from employees over the last week. Funny how that works, right? Why now? Why not months ago? Why not YEARS ago?

Here’s the thing. Liberals didn’t have a problem with Jackson until he defended Trump’s mental fitness. They’ve been LOOKING for a reason to “get” him, so I’m not ready to jump on board and pull out the pitchforks. Not yet.
