Over the weekend, snowflake libs had a collective freakout over this goofy prom photo:

Like I said yesterday, it’s cute. He’s a protective dad, and she’s all, “Ah geez dad.” And her prom date is all, “HAHAHA I totally want to pee myself right now.” IT’S A CLASSIC. It’s reminds me of those movie scenes where the dude comes to pick up a girl for a date and her dad is in the background casually cleaning his gun collection. This is a funny, protective dad thing.
Liberals freaked out, but the most ridiculous take goes to none other than Teen Vogue’s Lauren Duca.

Are. You. Kidding me? It’s called being a protective dad. The fact that her mind would even go there reveals that she has serious deep-seated daddy issues. You HAVE to in order to think that way. My dad is extremely protective– not overbearing (although to be fair, he never really had to be. I wasn’t ever a “wild teen” and he looks extremely intimidating so boys were naturally scared)– but never ONCE have I thought, “Wow. My dad is being protective because he thinks he OWNS me!” Never ever in a million years.
But, liberals.
There’s a whole page dedicated to weird insecure dads. This should be the headline.

These are not men who should be allowed to own guns

They think this is normal and healthy. Unbelievable.

Ugh. Where are all the SANE people?
Are you insane? Why would that even be the thought? I never thought of my daughter as “property” it’s called being protective and ensuring no one takes advantage of my daughter. Maybe your parents looked at you as property, the majority of fathers do not.

I’m a single mother and I would voice my concerns to any date of any of my three daughters….because I love them and my job is to protect them. Not because they are my property. You’re warped.

I mainly noticed the special way she looks at her Dad. It’s a sweet father/daughter moment. You fail to notice little things that do matter when you’re on a quest to whine about things that don’t.

What? He’s being a protective father. She’s probably underage, she’s grinning, it’s lighthearted. Protecting someone with love doesn’t mean “property”.
— Joy Villa (@Joy_Villa) April 22, 2018
OR that he is a father who loves his beautiful daughter and embraces his duty to protect her?
Maybe you forgot to recognize that more likely possibility… 🤷🏻♀️

Really, can’t anyone on the left take a joke, get a life!!!
— Christopher Taylor (@ccbrtx4) April 23, 2018
It’s not that serious. It’s suppose to be a joke from the Bad Boys 2 movie. The scene where Martin Lawrence’s daughter has her date take her out.

Liberals are incapable of understanding and appreciating jokes. (Besides Joe Biden *ba dum tss* Thanks, I’ll be here all week!)
I don’t see how it’s possible for a woman with a healthy relationship with her father to even GO there. I don’t understand how it could even cross her mind. That’s why I’m convinced Lauren Duca has deep issues. Either that or feminism completely wrecked her brain, which is also very possible.
Anyway, because liberals are life-ruiners, Jay felt the need to provide this explanation.
The prom picture I posted was obviously intended to be a joke. My Daughter has dated her boyfriend for over a year and they knew I was joking.
I take gun safety seriously (the gun was not loaded and had no clip in) and I did not intend to be insensitive to that important issue— Jay Feely (@jayfeely) April 22, 2018
Me right now:
