Conservative Author Brad Thor Says He’ll Challenge President Trump In 2020

Even thinking about 2020 makes me cringe. I’m NOT ready for another presidential election. But…here we are. It sounds like President Trump might have a conservative challenger: Conservative author Brad Thor.

I don’t know. This kinda smells like a publicity stunt. However, he told the Washington Times the following:

“Our nation was established to protect the greatest minority in the history of the word – the individual. As such, our government’s every move should be directed toward securing those rights.

A free people should zealously guard their freedom and never take it for granted. A leader who neither understands, nor cares about the mechanisms of government and the protections of liberty, is unquestionably unfit to serve and should be voted out of office for the people’s own good.”

A lot of these anti-Trumpers have trouble separating Trump’s accomplishments from his personality. You don’t HAVE to like him or his style, but he’s getting stuff done. That’s simply undeniable.

I don’t have a good feeling about any of this. Thoughts?
