Michelle Obama, like most liberals, does not believe in limited government.
Michelle thinks the government should control everything you do.. and that the president should be your PARENT.
Yup. The President should tell you to eat your carrots and brush your teeth and change your attitude or you’re GROUNDED.
At least… that’s what I gather.
According to BPR, that’s basically what just came out of her mouth.
Former first lady Michelle Obama took a few jabs at President Donald Trump on Thursday at the Simmons Leadership Conference in Boston, even suggesting that her husband, Barack Obama, was the “good parent” in comparison to Trump.
“I think what we see is what happens when we take things for granted,” Obama told Simmons College President Helen Drinan, according to The Hill. “For the eight years Barack was president, it was like having the ‘good parent’ at home. The responsible parent, the one who told you to eat your carrots and go to bed on time.”
“And now we have the other parent,” Obama continued, referencing President Trump. “We thought it’d feel fun, maybe it feels fun for now because we can eat candy all day and stay up late and not follow the rules.”
See. I don’t WANT a “parent” president. I don’t WANT a president to tell me to eat my carrots and go to bed on time. I want a president that will stay OUT OF MY LIFE.
If that’s a “bad parent” …then so be it.
BPR made another realization:
Obama’s seemingly innocuous “parent” jabs echo the Democrats deep desire for a nanny state.
Like Hillary, Mrs. Obama blamed women for not being brave enough to vote for another woman. She also echoed Hillary Clinton’s Orwellian desire to “shape” children from the Oval Office in her comments about President Obama being a “parent.”
As @FLOTUS said, the choice in this election is about who will have the power to shape our children for the next four years of their lives.

As if that wasn’t condescending and creepy enough, Obama went on to echo her husbands’ mantra about “being the change we seek” saying “the power for change is within us… we’re the answer that we seek.”
She got another shot in at Trump when she insisted Hillary Clinton was the “best qualified candidate” in the 2016 election — Obama blamed Clinton’s loss on women being hesitant to vote for another woman for president — saying that “she wasn’t perfect, but she was way more perfect” than the alternative.
Oh youuuu know. Us stupid, silly women who just don’t KNOW any better. The Dems have REALLY been killing the “feminist” game lately.
She did say ONE good thing. She will never run for president… this despite the fact the Obama cronies have basically begged her to.
“The reason why I don’t want to run for president — I can’t speak for Oprah, but my sense is that first of all, you have to want the job,” she said.
For perhaps the first time in her adult life, Mrs. Obama said something conservative Americans can agree with.
“I don’t want to be president, I don’t think I should be president,” she stated. “I think I can do a lot of things, but that’s not one of them.”
Yup. Like ruin school lunches and give up hope in our nation. Both things she’s good at.
