The Trump administration isn’t wasting any time. Homeland Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen just announced that Trump is directing agencies to take the proper steps to deploy the National Guard.

“The President has directed that the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security work together with our governors to deploy the National Guard to our southwest border,” Nielsen stated.
“While plans are being finalized, it’s our expectation that the National Guard will deploy personnel in support of CBP’s border security mission,” Nielsen continued. “I will not provide the full details today.”
Before the left freaks out, everyone should know that George W. Bush and yes, Barack Obama, made similar moves in the past.
We need a wall. Case closed.
