Paris Hilton got engaged a couple of months ago.
Her then-boyfriend proposed with a $2 million ring.
It’s freaking INSANE.
I’m all about beautiful engagement rings, but this is SO huge, it’s ugly. There. I said it. If you have the need for a constant security team to guard you while you wear your big, hideous rock, you need to reassess your entire existence.
I can’t imagine owning a piece of jewelry worth MILLIONS. For starters, what if you lost it? I mean, that happens a lot. Chicks lose jewelry. (I’m actually pretty good about keeping track of my jewelry. I “misplace” stuff around the house, but I rarely LOSE something of value. I once thought I lost a Pandora bangle my dad gave me, and I was devastated. But good news– it was at Kimber’s house! Whew! Close one!)
I’ll just say it. I’m not responsible enough to own a million dollar piece of jewelry. However, Paris’ ring is SO BIG, how could you lose it?
Oh, it’s possible, because SHE DID. TMZ has the scoop.
In case you hadn’t heard … Paris’ super expensive, 20-carat bling flew off her finger this weekend while she and her fiance, Chris Zylka, were partying it up at EDM group Above & Beyond’s concert in Miami. She says it was so heavy, it slipped right off her hand.
Chris and a mini search party — including movie and music exec Mike Burns — had to go searching for the rock, which Chris eventually found in a nearby ice bucket. This video shows what happened immediately after the clutch find … including Paris’ freak-out.
Good GRIEF Paris.
The ring was just so heavy and big that while I was dancing it literally flew off my finger into an ice bucket a couple of tables over. Thank God by some miracle my fiancé found it before someone else did and most likely would not have returned it. I am so lucky!

This is why you don’t buy chicks $2 million engagement rings.
