President Trump Explains His Decision To Congratulate Putin And Drops A REALLY Inconvenient Fact

President Trump called Vladimir Putin to congratulate him on his election win. Trump said it was a “very good call.”

I would’ve advised him against calling, but that’s just me. We can’t tell Russia how to operate, but I have a problem with congratulating leaders for “winning” elections that prooooooooobably weren’t fair and free.

Libs are acting totally outraged, even though Obama did the same exact thing.

That doesn’t change my personal opinion on the matter. It just makes libs look hysterical. They weren’t freaking out over this when Obama made the call.

I called President Putin of Russia to congratulate him on his election victory (in past, Obama called him also). The Fake News Media is crazed because they wanted me to excoriate him. They are wrong! Getting along with Russia (and others) is a good thing, not a bad thing…….

Anyway, word on the street is, President Trump was advised to NOT call Putin, but he did it anyway. We were not supposed to know that. That’s another White House leak, and John Kelly is reportedly FURIOUS.

White House chief of staff John Kelly on Wednesday plans to address the swift leak of guidance issued to President Trump not to congratulate Russian President Vladimir Putin on his election “win” earlier in the week when they spoke on the phone, according to a report.

Kelly is furious, the official said, and will address the matter as aides look into who could have leaked the national security advisers’ Tuesday warning to Trump: “DO NOT CONGRATULATE,” CNN reported. Trump disregarded the guidance and congratulated Putin, and also ignored a request that he condemn the poisoning of a former spy and his daughter in England, which several countries say is the work of Russia.

“This is unacceptable,” the official told CNN, adding that some believe the leak was made as an attempt to embarrass the president.

Sen. Rubio summed it up quite well.

Marco Rubio told us that he didn’t like the fact that Trump congratulated Putin but he was more fired up at the leak of Trump’s call to the press. Rubio’s message to the leakers: If you don’t like the guy, just quit, he said.
