Charlie Sheen Settles Lawsuit Over HORRIFIC Corey Haim Rape Story

In November of last year, a horrific report that Charlie Sheen had raped a then 13-year-old Corey Haim was making the rounds.

Both Corey’s mother and Corey Feldman (Corey Haim’s best friend) came out to say that the allegations were untrue. As, of course, did Charlie Sheen.

Sheen then sued the originator of the allegations – The National Enquirer – for defamation in December.

As TMZ reported back then:

Charlie Sheen is suing the National Enquirer for an article it published claiming he raped a then 13-year-old Corey Haim.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Sheen says the Enquirer article that ran on Nov. 8 claimed Sheen sodomized Haim while they were filming the movie, “Lucas” back in the 1980s. Sheen was 19 at the time. The article claimed they smoked pot and had anal sex. The article put Haim on a path of drug abuse, and an early grave.

Charlie has publicly denied the story, and in the lawsuit he points out Corey’s own mother has also denied it.

Charlie says Enquirer exec Dylan Howard has a vendetta against him. Charlie believes Howard is pissed because his publication didn’t break the story that Charlie has HIV.

He’s suing Howard and the National Enquirer for defamation and false light.

The lawsuit has now been settled.

Charlie sued the Enquirer late last year over a story it published, claiming he raped a then 13-year-old Corey Haim on the set of the 1980s movie, “Lucas.” Charlie denied the story, and Corey’s mother also said it was BS.

According to docs filed in L.A. late last week … Charlie’s lawyers are asking for the suit to be dismissed with prejudice — meaning it can’t be refiled. That’s typically a sign that they’ve struck a deal. Sources familiar with the situation tell us no money changed hands — but both sides were fully satisfied with the terms.

So there’s a good chance the Enquirer will publish a retraction or an apology.

As of now… a quick Google search for “Charlie Sheen Corey Haim ” still makes Sheen look pretty bad…

Websites simply referring to the movie they starred in together don’t even make the first page.

So yeah… I’d call this flat-out defamation.
