March 12, 2018I’ve been ridiculously disappointed in Shepard Smith lately. I used to think he was one of the few “journalists” out there who could keep his opinion out of the news, but I was wrong.
I watched Sarah Sanders’ press briefing on Fox News. Some reporter asked her about why the White House isn’t “officially” supporting new age restrictions on purchasing certain guns. The reporter mentioned President Trump’s recent tweet…
….On 18 to 21 Age Limits, watching court cases and rulings before acting. States are making this decision. Things are moving rapidly on this, but not much political support (to put it mildly).

…and pointed to online polls, which supposedly suggest that people overwhelmingly support changing the age. Sanders pointed out that he was largely referring to POLITICAL support. As in, support among lawmakers.
Shepard Smith decided to ignore that and slammed Sarah Sanders for not being “factually accurate.” His remarks start around the 47-second mark.

It’s clear Shep didn’t even listen to her answer. I’m SO SICK OF HIM.
Sanders also answered a really stupid question about Trump being “petrified” of the NRA.

God bless Sarah Sanders for dealing with those morons on a daily basis. And shame on Shep. If he wants to continue to spout his opinion, perhaps he should ask for a new show. You know. One that doesn’t require him to pretend to be an objective journalist anymore.
