Yesterday, Broward Sheriff Israel said that the deputy on duty at Stoneman Douglas the day of the shooting– Scot Peterson– never went inside to confront the shooter.

PS John– “good guy with a gun” usually refers to civilians who carry, but you have a narrative to tout. Don’t worry. I get it.

“Good guy with a gun” specifically refers to civilians. It’s the argument you use to claim only cops should carry guns. You can’t randomly use it when the cops don’t do their job.
