As I mentioned earlier, Billy Graham passed away today at the age of 99.
So of course, the “when they go low, we go high” crowd is paying their respects dancing in the streets.
Lauren Duca, the same GEM of a woman who tells teen girls what gifts to buy their BFF after she’s had an abortion and frequently threatens to bite men’s d*ck off showed an equal amount of class when she tweeted this:
The big news today is that Billy Graham was still alive this whole time. Anyway, have fun in hell, bitch.

“Respecting the dead” only applies to people who weren’t evil pieces of shit while they were living, thanks.
— Lauren Duca (@laurenduca) February 21, 2018
And her followers stepped in line:
To commemorate this day I will be spending time alone with a man who is not my husband.

And the millions of God’s Children who are homosexual Americans are smiling with glee today as they envision the talking-to he is having in his Come-To-Jesus moment.

I hear Heaven is a gay club, so it’ll work out either way 😇🌈🍸

I thought god’s conman died a long time ago. 🤪

But um… Do these folks even know whose grave they’re stomping all over? Or are they just excited any time they see a “white male Christian evangelical leader” has passed away?
I’m no defender of religious leaders, nor of the dead, but I think you may have him mixed up with someone else. You may not agree with everything he stood for but he was involved in the Civil Rights movement and never spouted hateful thoughts.

“Had it not been for the ministry of my good friend Dr. Billy Graham, my work in the civil rights movement would not have been as successful as it has been.” —Martin Luther King Jr.

Evil? Do you know how many people he’s served? How much he’s given back? How many missions he’s done? He admitted his wrongs in judging, and said he doesn’t want any part of it. He only wants to spread the gospel. He grew as a person and a Christian, the only evil one here is you

I admire you, Lauren, but urge you to look again at him. He’s no Falwell. He was an early supporter of integration at a time it would have been far easier to stay status quo. Everyone’s a mixed bag, but he’s also been a force for good to a lot of people.

Doesn’t MATTER. HATING ALL CHRISTIANS IS COOL, DON’T YOU KNOW?
But you know… if you’re offended by spitting on the grave of an Evangelical Christian leader… it’s just because you’re a Midwestern idiot.
Some of these outraged responses are typical of evangelical & Midwestern sensibilities. I.e. it’s offensive to swear & express contemptuous sentiments…but never mind the actual harm this person’s ideas & actions have done to real people & communities. Never mind their terror.

Riiiiiight. I wonder what this person has to say about Muslim leaders. Surely he holds them in contempt too, right? And will speak out about the “harm” they’ve caused!
HAHAHAHAHA.
Yeah, right.
