I’m sorry, but what the fresh hell is this?
Banning #bumpstocks is a start; as is enhanced #backgroundchecks Now we need more commonsense 2d Amendment friendly measures, like the #JuvenileAssaultWeaponsBan that would have prevented #NikolasCruz from buying his #AR15 Stop the machine gun madness. At least slow it down.

There’s so much wrong with this tweet. I don’t even know where to begin. A #JuvenileAssaultWeaponsBan? “Enhanced” background checks? Stopping “machine gun madness”? NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE. What is an “enhanced” background check going to do? What makes it “enhanced,” huh? And where are the machine guns he’s speaking of, because AR-15s AREN’T MACHINE GUNS.
For. The. Love…they are not machine guns. Ugh. Also…an American 18 year old can crush an enemy’s skull with his boot or e-tool in Iraq, but can’t come home and buy a gun??

Sir, as you know, I respect your war correspondent service, so please let's not misuse the 'machine gun' term when talking about firearms like the AR-15. It weakens your otherwise sensible argument. Thank you.
— John Robert Finch (@JohnRobertFinch) February 20, 2018
The AR-15 is NOT a machine gun. Machine guns have been illegal for decades. The Columbine shooters used handguns and shotguns. During the federal assault weapons ban. Just saying.

I could make a bump stock in my shop, no problem. That is not a solution.

He didn't have a machine gun.
He was old enough to risk his own life serving in our military.
Delete your account.

Let’s make your place of work a gun free zone.
— taxsun (@HeisenbergScien) February 20, 2018
U know that an AR-15 is NOT a machine gun. Stop spreading lies!
— TheHome (@fal_lise) February 20, 2018
Come on Geraldo there not machine guns they are semi-automatic civilian versions of military weapons. When you make a statement like that you lose all your credibility. If you want a new law regulating a wheel you got to know that it is round.
— Government_4570 (@government_4570) February 20, 2018
You lost every single reader of your Tweet when you used the term "machine gun" therefore your Tweet is a waste of time. #carryon
— Mark E (@MFnChainsaws) February 20, 2018
What machine gun??
— Edward Rosier (@EdwardRosier1) February 20, 2018
Common @GeraldoRivera you’re a smart informed journalist. Don’t diminish your cred by saying AR 15 is a machine gun!!!
— Mark Alford (@markalfordkc) February 20, 2018
machine gun? What the hell is that, you can't buy a machine gun.
— Godlycomment (@Godlycomment) February 20, 2018
Enhanced background checks? It’s clear the present background checks are not meeting the original intent so enhancing will accomplish what? Another feel good law?
— Tom Hennessey (@thennes2) February 20, 2018
Stop with the machine gun nonsense. Ignorance isn’t helpful in making your argument.🙄
— Ann Boger (@ann_boger) February 20, 2018
Do better, dude. This is not helping.
