February 10, 2018The #MeToo movement is continuing to backfire. Just ask Arianna Huffington. Men are hesitant to mentor women. They have to be extra careful, because they never know if they’re dealing with a hypersensitive feminist who will accuse them of mansplaining for explaining something in the workplace. Men never know if they’re dealing with a PSYCHO SJW feminist, who would dare make damning allegations against them, despite their innocence.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that pervy, abusive men shouldn’t be called out and held accountable. They ABSOLUTELY should. I’m just afraid that feminists are taking it too far (a flirty wink ≠ rape) and taking away from REAL victims and their tragic stories.
That’s all I’m saying.
It’s actually a very troubling time for men. If you think there aren’t crazy feminist chicks who will make false allegations against men they don’t like just to ruin their life, allow me to introduce you to Lena Dunham. She did that. She accused a man of rape and wrecked his life. She didn’t care.
The problem is, we live in a “guilty until proven innocent” world. All a woman has to do is make an allegation, and BOOM. The man’s reputation is almost immediately tarnished. I really feel for the INNOCENT men this happens to.
I know what you’re thinking. Why am I talking about this? ‘Cause it’s a rainy day in DC, and Trump is using his “indoor day” to tweet about this phenomenon.

Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation. Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused – life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?

He’s right. Many innocent men accused don’t have a huge platform (or resources) to prove their innocence. In situations where the evidence is absolutely overwhelming and the guy is a straight up snake (Harvey Weinstein? Anthony Weiner? Bill Clinton?) sure. I understand jumping to conclusions. The facts are there. I’m not really talking about those cases though. I’m talking more about everyday life people.

Um….that wasn’t the point. He’s talking about the impact this movement has on INNOCENT men accused of wrongdoing. If Jared punched Ivanka in the face, the evidence would speak for itself. Trump wouldn’t side with Jared. That’s completely absurd.

False accusations do a disservice to women who have really suffered at the hands of abusers, and they ruin the lives of innocent men. That’s the point.
