Katy Tur asked Americans what they would do with their bonus due to GOP Tax cuts…
In order to turn around and mock them.
Gentleman at Ohio Trump event says he’s going to save to start a family with his 1,000 dollar one time bonus.
Average cost to give birth to one child in Ohio is $5,836.

Wow… talk about ELITIST WITCH.
What this a-hole doesn’t realize is that for most Americans, EVERY PENNY COUNTS.
He didn’t didn’t say he was going to use his bonus to pay for the ENTIRE cost of starting a family… he will use the bonus TOWARDS the cost of starting a family. If you’re trying to budget to start a family, or buy a home, OR WHATEVER an unexpected amount of money helps! HOW IS THIS SO DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND?!
Of course, the “compassionate left” is piling on. Because they’re good people like that:
Did he say family of humans?

The adoption fee for a pet is close to that by the time you see a vet and buy food and supplies.

Maybe he wants to start a family of goldfish?

Dear LORD these idiots are insufferable.
It’s funny the lengths they’ll go to “prove” Pelosi’s embarrassingly out of touch “crumbs” narrative.
He’s got some nerve keeping his money in hopes of bringing a child into the world. https://t.co/blWF9KDM2Z

I had far less in savings when I had my first kid. Good for him. https://t.co/kHgk5ZpXYa

That $5,836 represents the cost that insurance pays, meaning policy holder pays a fraction of that amount (depending on deductible). So $1,000 may actually go a long way to paying for live birth. Could also cover about 2 years of diapers. https://t.co/CRabKPJgeC

HOLY SHIT. You mean the unexpected cash infusion is only going to pay for about 20% of his bill? His happiness must be hard to understand from that Ivory White Tower of Hackery https://t.co/ZC4mB8FMgm

CRUMBS I TELL YA!
CRUMBS!
I mean… $1,000 wont even buy you a Chanel wallet, right Katie?
Fascinating logic, by the way. So it would be better if these little poor people didn’t get this $1,000? They will forever be childless and destitute? I mean, they couldn’t possibly have jobs or anything. Such a weird tweet. https://t.co/Ob70tyHF72

Yes. Only wealthy people deserve to start families.
I was excited to see a regular of ours sum this up quite nicely.
Let me rewrite that headline for you…
“Clueless journalists mock American citizens for being happy about bonus checks.”— Eric Muss-Barnes (@EricMussBarnes) February 5, 2018
BINGO.
