Ummmm…CNN? You’re not helping the FBI look better, here.
Former CIA counterterrorism official Phil Mudd: The FBI people "are ticked" and they'll be saying of Trump, “You’ve been around for 13 months. We've been around since 1908. I know how this game is going to be played. We're going to win" https://t.co/5x39x20g3e pic.twitter.com/fByOLNrh0I

If Phil Mudd is right, and there’s a whole bunch of “ticked” FBI people who are defiantly taking the attitude of “We’ve been around longer than you and so we’re gonna ‘win,'” then the country’s problem with the FBI is way worse than we thought. Even if you’re not a fan of Trump’s and even if you think, like James Comey, “That’s it?” about the memo, you should at LEAST be concerned that this Phil Mudd guy is an example of the attitude of folks in the FBI. They aren’t supposed to be in competition with Trump. They report to an agency created by Congress. Their job, entirely, is to protect us and our freedoms, not to look for some sick revenge against those who criticize them. Because if that’s their attitude, they’re proving the criticism right.
That is seriously f*cked up.
