Democrats Say Hope Hicks Maaaaaaaaybe Wanted To Obstruct Justice, Just One Problem

The Nunes memo could be released today! How exciting? Even if it’s not today, it’s going to be released. President Trump said so. I think his exact words were, “Oh yeah, don’t worry, 100 percent.”

Democrats are doing everything in their power to stop it from happening. Schiff even tried to get creative and released his own BREAKING NEWS.

If the memo is released today, it’s going to dominate the news cycle. It’s going to throw a huge wrench in the Russia investigation. Speaking of, libs are trying to take down White House Communications Director Hope Hicks. A former spokesman for Trump’s legal team, Mark Corallo, is set to speak with the special counsel and will suggest that Hicks wanted to obstruct justice.

Mr. Corallo is planning to tell Mr. Mueller about a previously undisclosed conference call with Mr. Trump and Hope Hicks, the White House communications director, according to the three people. Mr. Corallo planned to tell investigators that Ms. Hicks said during the call that emails written by Donald Trump Jr. before the Trump Tower meeting — in which the younger Mr. Trump said he was eager to receive political dirt about Mrs. Clinton from the Russians — “will never get out.” That left Mr. Corallo with concerns that Ms. Hicks could be contemplating obstructing justice, the people said.

He was concerned that she might. It doesn’t mean she did.

If true, Hope Hicks would be in bigly trouble. Of course she could also flip, like former Trump associates Flynn & Papadopoulos (and potentially Bannon).

That’s the big part of this. “If true.” Her team denies it.

In a statement on Wednesday, a lawyer for Ms. Hicks strongly denied Mr. Corallo’s allegations.

“As most reporters know, it’s not my practice to comment in response to questions from the media. But this warrants a response,” said the lawyer, Robert P. Trout. “She never said that. And the idea that Hope Hicks ever suggested that emails or other documents would be concealed or destroyed is completely false.”

That’s the thing. This isn’t evidence. This is a guy saying that he thinks Hope Hicks thought about obstructing justice.
