Democrats are trying to come up with creative ways to #resist during President Trump’s first official State of the Union address. Alyssa Milano is promoting “digital counter programming.” Rep. Maxine Waters is delivering her own national address on BET after Trump’s. A handful of Democratic lawmakers are boycotting Trump’s speech altogether, but those who do attend are planning on making political statements by bringing “Dreamers” as their guests. (That’s Pelosi’s plan, at least.)
Speaking of guests, the White House invited Evelyn Rodriguez. Her 16-year-old daughter was murdered by members of MS-13, and she’ll be in the audience during Trump’s address. However, she said this isn’t about making a political statement. She just wants what’s right for our country.
She said her visit isn’t tied to the immigration debate that is front and center in Congress’s budget war.
“I just want what’s right to be done,” Rodriguez, 49, told the newspaper. “Everybody should put their political agenda aside and think about what’s going on in our country.”
Trump is likely to address the violent gang, founded in Los Angeles by Salvadoran refugees, and the dangers that illegal immigrants pose to Americans when he addresses the joint session of Congress.
That brings me back to Democrats in the audience. I think James Woods should be in charge of the seating arrangements, because I’d love to see this happen.
Sit her next to Schumer. Watch that worm squirm. #SquirmingSchumer https://t.co/kvcdWyAfzw

DO IT.
Any Dreamers hoping to attend the Stata of the Union Address should be replaced by parents of victims of illegal immigrants.

“Sit her next to Schumer”? Hasn’t she already suffered enough?

Touché.
He does need a reality check in the worst way.

If someone has no conscience, would they squirm? #schumersshutdown

Ohhh. Good question.
That implies Schumer has empathy for other’s suffering. Not likely.

I think they should put her next to Nancy Pelosi

Eh. She doesn’t have a conscience either. I doubt we’d get any squirming out of her.
