New York Governor Wants “Dreamers” To Go To College For Free

You know how sometimes it feels like Democrats prioritize illegal aliens over US citizens?

That’s because they do.

According to the NY Post, Gov. Cuomo wants Dreamers to go to college for free. Because their “dreams” are the most important.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo wants to give another break to immigrant Dreamers by extending free public college tuition to students who were brought into the United States illegally as kids.

Cuomo tucked a provision in his $168 billion budget plan that would amend state education law to make the undocumented students eligible for the Excelsior Scholarship program, which covers tuition costs for students from families with incomes of up to $125,000.

LOVELY.

And you know who’s paying for that? Hard-working Americans who probably have a crap ton of student loans themselves.

Seems a liiiittle twisted.

On Tuesday, he said the state would continue providing Medicaid to Dreamers regardless of any federal changes to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA.

Cool. I am currently priced out of health insurance. I make too much to qualify for any assistance or discount… but as of recently I basically only had one option… and I couldn’t afford it. So yeah. Thanks, Obama! I also paid for ALL of my college education ON MY OWN. But “Dreamers” get rewarded for being here illegally.

Wonderful.

But Republicans in the state Senate said they won’t go along with Cuomo’s latest idea.

“We don’t support giving free college tuition to people who are here illegally,” said Senate GOP spokesman Scott Reif.

Obviously that makes Scott Reif a racist.

Obviously.

Sooooo maybe instead of paying for our kids’ insurance and college funds… we should just figure out a way to take away their citizenship!

Then Cuomo will just take care of it for us!
